Kevin Hancock
Current Status
Kevin Hancock is going to be a Junior in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University. He is traveling to Taipei, Taiwan this summer to study abroad and to do an internship. He will be taking a class on Green Energy at Tatung University along with another class, Thermodynamics II, from Iowa State. Kevin is excited to learn about other cultures and to get work experience.
Personal Information
Kevin Hancock grew up in Cedar Falls Iowa. He has two older sisters and is engaged to be married next summer to Amanda Traetow. They have been dating for over 4 1/2 years. He is also involved in FarmHouse Fraternity, where he assumes the role of the Song Chair and have been active in the activities that are offered. Kevin is also very active in his faith and is a leader for a group of 7th graders. He leads a Bible Study with them and is a tutor and mentor as well. Kevin was involved in wrestling in high school and was the state runner up for 112 lbs in 2008.
Kevin Hancock is very interested in mechanical components. He loves solving problems and he has a high interest in how things work. Kevin enjoys designing and looking to improve designs. He has experience with CAD and computer programming. He is looking forward to be working with a company in Taipei. Kevin has been searching for an opportunity to use his knowledge in engineering and apply it to the work place.
